About Event
In today’s modern world, computers make decisions like humans. This can be achieved by using soft computing techniques which exploit the given tolerance of imprecision, partial truth and uncertainty for a particular problem. They resemble biological processes and capable of solving NP hard problems. They include neural networks, evolutionary algorithms, support vector machines, fuzzy logic etc. Most of these techniques can be easily implemented in MATLAB since some of the default packages for these techniques are already implemented in MATLAB.
The objective of this workshop is to provide a practical exposure to the participants about soft computing techniques and their implementation using MATLAB.

How to reach Kongu Engineering College, Erode
The college is situated at Perundurai on the National Highway (NH 47) about 80 km from Coimbatore and 20 km from Erode. It is well connected by air, road and rail.
